Never ending fun and great activities in Recife, Brazil

Activities in Recife Brazil displays the city’s cultural past as it takes great strides to meet the future; a Recife day trip or day tour of Recife environs will showcase this allure.  Make sure you are going to stay here for a week – if want to savor the carnival spirit in Recife music, sights, attractions, events and more.  Be sure you have prepared a list of hundred things to do. There are so many activities in Recife Brazil you will have to come back again – as thousands of others have done.

Whether you want an adventure travel or relaxation, the various activities in Recife Brazil have the right mix of sights, sounds, and action to entertain you.  A visit to Recife is not complete if you don’t take a side trip to the Pernambuco Forests.   In this side of the world you will see the rare species of flora and fauna, and on the coastal Pernambuco Forest you may espy the world famous Pernambuco fish.

The forest episode will prepare for the next treat.  Ask your guide to take you where an exhibition of the capoeira Pernambuco can be viewed.  This is a martial art form that is a composite of acrobatics, dance, music and fighting stances.  This martial arts form was developed by the African slaves, and was later elevated as a cultural heritage of the country, especially in Recife.

With your adrenalin rushing from the excitement of the dance, you may want to calm down at the Recife Brazil Iberapuera Park.  The well-kept grounds and the placid lake are as close as you can get to nature in more urbane settings.

But if shopping interests you, go to the busy attractions near Hilton Recife.  You can get bargain island souvenirs, haggle for island craft and art works that you can take home proudly.  Here go into the cafes and have a cup of the famous Brazilian coffee, and watch the world hurry by.

If you want more of the quaint stuff, go to the Casa De Cultura.  This is an old prison building refurbished to house local craft and souvenir shops.

A day at the beach for a surf holiday will be the highest point of your beach adventure.  There are great reefs and the water is fine, any time of the year.

If it is a game of golf that will make your day, check out one of the Recife golf course in the area’s busy center.  The Caxanga Golf and Country Club has 13 holes but still can give you the best in putting greens.

If you have booked a guided city tour, Recife guides will take you along the more famous Recife attractions like the Brazil Recife Coffee Exchange where again the strong brew is served.

You have to book in advance for hotel accommodations near the city center.  These hotels can hook you up for a guided city tour.  The activities in Recife Brazil as well as the sights and hotspots will not bore you, and you will want more.  The best time to go to Recife?  Go there after Lent – and join the greatest celebrations in this side of South America – the Recife Carnival.
