So Much To See And Do At Candeias

Unlike a lot of other beaches in Brazil, Candeias beach is pretty much a no go on the surfing front. That is not to say that the partying surfer could not have fun in Candeias, but rather they just won’t be enjoying the surf on their board. Instead the interested surfers, should they plan their surf holiday or surf trip will, will be enjoying all of the fun and festivities associated with a traditional Brazilian carnival! When you think about the choice between another surf camp and one of the best carnivals on the entire Recife coast, the choice can be a hard one. But with that said this carnival is considered among the best in all of Brazil, the choice is obvious. The Recife Brazil surf report most likely will not be reporting anything of surfing interest on Candeias, Recife beaches, but there will probably be a few reporters covering the excellent party instead.

Beyond carnival the Candeias beach and the Recife beaches as a whole are worth a visit; however if you are a fan of the bed and breakfast then this should be your first stop in Recife. Like other Recife Brazil beaches, Candeias has its share of hotels, however the robust bed and breakfast market is what really makes a stay along the shores of Recife a delight. Until you have experienced the rustic charm of a locally run bed and breakfast you have not really experienced all that this Recife Brazil beach has to offer.

Candeias is also an opportune place to take Recife beach pics. The shallow waters and beautiful reefs of this Recife beach make ideal candidates for ocean photography. If you are feeling extra ambitious then rent a helicopter and take photos of this Recife Brazil beach from above. The reef structures are simply fantastic, and well worth the cost if you are a photography buff.

As far as Recife beaches are concerned Candeias feels distinctly less commercial than the other beaches in Recife. Its rich tradition and laid back atmosphere make it an ideal tourist destination for the tourist who wants to avoid the “tourist” experience. That is to say; Candeias is as close to local culture as you are going to get without moving to Recife Brazil. This sense of rustic, though modernized, charm may not be for everyone however. So if you are more of a lounge by the pool type of vacationer, and there is nothing wrong with that, then you may want to check out one of the many other Recife beaches and leave Candeias to the travelers who can truly appreciate the tradition of the area.
