Recife Diving Location Tips

One of the best-known diving objects in Recife is the steamship wreck called the Vapor Bahia. This ship sank 12 miles from an island called Itamarca and can be found at the bottom of 85 feet of water. This ship is a great starting point for diving and knows some unique species of rare fish. You can see rays, manatees and some types of fish the size of a person. Diving here will truly open your eyes to the great coastline of Recife.

The Pirapama shipwreck collided with the Vapor and was sunk to the bottom of the ocean after it had been found guilty of causing the accident with the Vapor.
